Picnic Crafts are held every Wednesday at 9AM - Quilting, Sewing, Needlework, etc.
The "Community Quilt" was designed by Paula Hobbs who now lives in Ashland, KY. Over 300 names of people who have lived in the Fancy Farm community since 1828 are included on the quilt. All names were found in history books, cemetery records and church directories. The quilt is 110" X 110" and is comprised of 36 blocks in the Dresden Plate pattern. Embroidery of names was done by Joyce Toon, Francis Higgins, Dorothy Elliott and Dottie Wilson.
It was quilted by Wilma Hobbs, Ann Willett, Anna Rose Rogers, Martina Wilson, Betty Joe Carbin, Ginny Elliott, Lyndia Elder, Carolyn Sullivan, Edna Heaton and Carol Ballard.
The quilt was raffled at the Fancy Farm Picnic and won by Tammy Harris.
